Launched out of NYU, with partners at leading universities, the Emerging Movement Volumetric Collab (EMᵛC) is a research institute connecting faculty, students, and alum with industry leaders and organizations. We create programs and projects that utilize members expertise in dance, film and technology to translate and amplify movement and human performance in both commercial and artistic projects. Our members are at the forefront of emerging technologies including AR/VR/XR, gaming, digital film, streaming, engineering, robotics, cloud workflows, AI, and virtual production.

The Emerging Movement Volumetric Conference and Summit first launched @ Lincoln Center in 2017. In 2024 we will be live in both NYC and California for our newest coast to coast conference.
